How do I join 22 Red Knight Squadron?

If you have turned at least 12 years old, the best time to register and join is on any Thursday starting in September.  However youth are welcome to join us anytime between September and June. September is when the majority of other first time cadets join us.

Cadets who join after March 31st are unable to complete the training year requirements and are therefore ineligible for summer training opportunities.  We will however accept registrations up until the first week in June when we stand down for the summer.

Membership Requirements: 

The Cadet Program is open to youths between 12 and 18 yrs of age, and is an organization based on military values.

Air Cadets has three aims:

• to promote in youth the attributes of good leadership and citizenship

• to promote physical fitness

• to promote an interest in aviation and related fields

In order to register you will need to bring the following to the registration day:

• Canadian Government issued photo ID (landed immigrant or citizenship card) or a Canadian Birth Certificate

• An original Provincial Health Insurance Card (Care Card)

In order to successfully register, a parent or legal guardian must attend with each applicant on their first night.  An application form must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian. Also depending on the answers provided in the medical portion of the application form there may be additional forms that will need to be filled out.
